For generations, people of color have been forced into survival mode.
You likely come from a lineage where your community:
- worked tirelessly
- sacrificed their own lives for the next generation
- experienced real, true scarcity
- were sometimes more familiar with hardship than joy
And if you’re being honest, that lineage has found its way into your leadership, business, and life.
You now work tirelessly to care for yourself and your community.
You don’t get to enjoy the beauty of your life and loved ones nearly enough.
You think about money…like, a lot.
And the worst part?
Even with all this work, you somehow still always feel behind.
Well, I say ‘no more.’

Listen – the way you’ve been operating makes complete sense.
You and your community have real, lived experiences that have created the way you move as a leader and/or entrepreneur.
But, there’s a real cost to not healing this generational trauma.
And let me tell you from first-hand experience:
It’s not pretty.

You begin to feel:
- Burnt out
- Like you can’t trust your own ideas and thoughts
- Stuck in survival mode
- That YOU’RE in the way of everything you want.
Soon, you begin thinking you’re the problem, and wondering:
“What the hell is wrong with me?”
and
“Why can’t I just get out of my own damned way?
It’s because you aren’t what’s actually in your way, precious – what’s in your way is generations of white supremacy, culture, and patriarchy teaming up to make you doubt yourself and your power every single day.

Now, instead of allll that, imagine you could:
- lead in a way that’s honest, transparent, and feels like YOU (goodbye, perfectionism!)
- make decisions faster, easier, and without doubt – because you actually trust yourself completely
- finally work towards your own version of success (hello, vacation!)
- spend more time enjoying your life without sacrificing your income
- take care of your body and its needs as much (or more!) than you care for others
- feel confident AF as the leader of your team and community
ALL while truly enjoying the rest and freedom that your ancestors and community have worked so hard for?
“Okay Gieselle, whatchu smoking?”
Nothing, I’m just breathing in the sweet, sweet smell of freedom, baby.

This is possible for you, precious.
I know because I’ve done it, and because my coaching clients do it, too.
Jaya no longer puts up with inequitable and unfair work situations. Instead, they confidently advocate for themselves (and the folks they lead) without fear:

Including your internal drama, honey.

- “The only ‘right way’ is the path that comes from your intuition and wisdom. Don’t worry, I’ll help you find it.”
- “Focus on enjoying your leadership, business, and life first – because being wealthy and miserable ain’t it”
The journey to becoming the leader you want to be isn’t easy
But I’m here to help

I’m Gieselle!
I’m a Black, American, queer, ablebodied, neurotypical, cisgender woman. I currently live on the stolen land of the Lenape tribe, which is now known as Montclair, New Jersey.
I’m so grateful that my divine path in this world is to help leaders of color reclaim their brilliance and power so that they get success, respect, joy, freedom, and peace that is long owed to our communities.
Allowing myself to truly be supported by other leaders of color who share my values, cheerlead me, and truly see me has changed my life, leadership, and business.
I created my 1:1 coaching program with the hopes that you can experience the power of that kind of support, too.
Because what we can achieve together beats ANYTHING we can achieve alone.
Why else do you think they’ve tried to keep us apart for so long?
Raquel learned how to stop comparing & despairing, and rest in a way that is sustainable in the long term for her:
Here’s a preview of some of what we cover in 1:1 coaching
Get Your Confidence, Honey!
I’ll support you in kicking fear of failure, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, & indecision to the curb so that you can FINALLY do what you want to do without your internal drama creating resistance along the way.
Skip the Grind
White capitalism has taught us that ‘hustling’ is the only way to achieve your goals. Well boo, your burnout is not on my agenda! We’ll be focusing on how you can achieve more while doing less, and actually enjoying your life.
Doing things YOUR Way
We’ll look at every facet of your leadership & business and make sure you feel wildly confident taking aligned action towards how you actually want to lead or run your business, instead of just doing what white gurus say you “should”.
Creating More Abundance
We’ll work on getting rid of every internal obstacle that stops you from taking consistent, aligned action towards making more money from your work. Whether you need to advocate for yourself + your work or take bigger swings in your leadership or business – I’ll support you in doing what it takes to create more money right now.
Taking Care of Your Body
You’ve been carrying your stress in your body for too long. I’ll help you listen to trust, and nourish your body so that you know when you need rest, stop burning out, and have more energy every single day.
Heal Your Relationship with Money
I’ll help you feel financially safe, no matter what your financial situation is like right now, so that you can FINALLY stop stressing about money.

Frequently Asked Questions
I want to make sure you’re making the BEST possible decision for yourself and your business by applying to work with me.
And if you’re asking questions and giving me the critical side eye, good.
It means you’re looking out for yourself, and I can’t fault that.
So, I decided to answer some questions about working with me that you’re probably already thinking of!
What happens after I schedule a call?
You’ll receive a series of emails preparing you for our call, and also giving you a deeper preview of what our work could look like.
On the date of your call, you and I will talk about your goals, and what I would like to focus on with you if we DO work together.
If it feels like a fit, we’ll talk about working together – if not, you won’t get any pressure or manipulation from me. I’ll send you on your way, precious.
What can I expect from coaching sessions?
Good question! You can expect that each session will integrate a variety of modalities. I integrate mindset work (aka shifting your thoughts and perspectives to more helpful ones) with somatic work (awareness of what’s going on and what needs to be healed within your body.)
I also integrate intuitive and ancestral work because I’m a psychic, medium, and channel – so mama just can’t help that one.
Some sessions we laugh and kiki, others we cry and do deep healing. It really just depends.
If you’d like to hear an example of what a coaching session with me can look like, you can listen to this example here.
Please note – this session has a trigger warning, because at the 30 minute mark, we do talk about sexual assault. If that’s upsetting for you, please just stop the recording before 30 minutes in.
I'm white-passing or mixed race. Is this the right coaching container for me?
As long as you identify as a person of color, and you identify with the struggles we spoke about on this page, you are welcome in my practice. That being said, for my own safety, I will have a conversation with you about how much work you’ve done in your anti-racism journey to ensure I feel safe being in deep relationship with you.
How much time and energy do I need to dedicate to this?
You’ll have two coaching sessions per month – so you’ll of course need to attend those!
Between sessions, you can expect to spend 5-10 minutes daily doing your custom-assigned “homework” from your coaching session.
I’ll be honest, reversing years of colonization, internalized capitalism, patriarchy, and generations of fuckery ain’t going to be easy. It doesn’t happen overnight, and the true magic comes from the work you do between sessions.
But on the other side? You’ll stand tall in your truth, run a business fueled by your soul on fire, and you’ll do it without giving in to white capitalism.
Sounds like it’s worth doing 5-10 minutes of work each day, right?
What kind of folks work with you 1:1?
You’re a good fit for my coaching practice if…
- You identify as a person of color
- You’re an entrepreneur, change maker, artist, creative, or coach
- You want to think critically about how capitalism, patriarchy, and white dominant culture impact and impede the way you do business
- You want to serve black and brown communities (though that’s not a requirement of the program.)
- You have a big heart
Is there a group/community element to this work?
Yes and no. This is 1:1 coaching, so the vast majority of your work will just be with you and me. That being said, all of my coaching clients get access to my short term courses, online retreats, and paid workshops – for free! So you can expect to have longer group containers to join about twice a year, and smaller events you can join about once a month.
Will we talk about strategy in this work?
This is not a coaching program where I will tell you what to do in your business. That’s some patriarchal bullshit that I just don’t believe in.
I believe that you always know what’s best for you and your business. So if you bring a strategy topic to a coaching call, I will support you in finding the best answer for you, but I will very rarely tell you what to do.
