Are you running the race with no finish line?

Y’all know that I’m all about liberating myself from the hustle and grind culture, slowing down, defining my own pace, tuning in to my intuition, and living in the present.
But your girl wasn’t always this breezy.
When I first started my business, I was neck-deep in the hustle culture. I was working more than 10 hours every day trying to scale my business, quadruple my income, and achieve bigger targets daily.
I thought if my next month wasn’t better than this month, I was doing my business wrong.
And hell, I was doing my business wrong.
But it wasn’t about the numbers.
I was doing it wrong because I’d gotten myself into a race with no finish line. And my feet were getting tired of running.
Once I stopped believing that constant growth is the ONLY way to do business, I was able to quit the race and slow down.
Today, I’m down to 4 hour workdays AND I’m making more money than I ever did before.
But it’s not easy to just stop running when you’re going at 200 miles/hour. All you can really do is change your gears down slowly, one step at a time.
If you wanna slow down, start by clearing some time in your day (it could be an hour, it could be 10 minutes) and do nothing in it.
Use that time to just be present.
Do this every day – and I promise, it’ll get easier.
You’ll start looking forward to it.
And you’ll start making that time frame longer, and longer.
Spoiler alert: Your business won’t fall apart.
But you will if you don’t take this advice.
Skip the grind,
Your business will thank you for it.
Until next time precious,
Gieselle
