I have an announcement to make

When I recorded the first episode of the Revolutionary Rising podcast 6 months ago (can you believe it’s actually been THAT long?!!), I never imagined, not even in my wildest dreams, that this series would go on to touch the hearts and lives of SO many people.

It is your love and appreciation that has given me the motivation to get in front of a mic and record an episode every single week. And I’m so grateful to you for cheering me on through this journey.

But I need to tell you today that this is the last episode of Revolutionary Rising before we go on a hiatus for a few months.

The decision to press pause on this podcast wasn’t easy, but I know instinctively that it’s the right thing for me right now.

To be honest, I actually wanted to go on this hiatus a few months ago. But everyone around me asked me to keep going because everyone loves the podcast so much, and so I did.

But recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about the ways in which I show up in my community and interact with all of you.

And I realized that I’d been right all along in the way I’d been feeling. I just chose to trust what everyone else told me over my own instinct.

So, here’s the lesson you (and me too, hopefully) need to learn from this story—

Always trust your intuition.

Just because something’s working brilliantly doesn’t mean you have to keep doing it, even if everyone else thinks you should. If something doesn’t feel 100% right to YOU, that’s reason enough to say no.
