Right now, let’s be honest:

You’re working a high-demand, energy draining job…

..or, you love what you’re doing but you’re hustling and grinding yourself to death.

You’re caretaking for other humans in your life…

…you’re trying to keep yourself healthy & alive (I can’t be the only person here who feels like this is the hardest job of all)

…you’ve got multiple passion projects that you’re trying to bring to life.

…and let’s be real, you worry if you stop moving that everything (including you) might fall apart.

So, what do you do about it?

Tbh, what it takes to avoid burnout goes against what we’ve learned our entire lives:

You’ve gotta slow the fuck down.

I know it feels counterintuitive, because you’ve got so much going on.

I know it feels impossible, because you have so many responsibilities and goals that you’re not able (or willing!) to compromise on.

Contrary to popular belief, slowing down isn’t a problem- it’s the answer.

When you slow down, here’s what’s available to you:

👉🏿You get to look at everything you’re doing, and ask yourself “does this even need to be done?” or “do I even need to be the person who does this?”

👉🏿You get creative ideas for how to work smarter, not harder

👉🏿 You ensure that what you work towards is
actually right for you and your goals
The most important thing you get from slowing down, however…

…is a deeper connection to your body & it’s capacity.

And that, my love, is the game changing thing that supports you in beating burnout.

Burnout is caused by us overriding & ignoring our body’s need for rest because “things need to get done.”

So, if you slow down enough that you can hear your body’s wants & needs when they’re a gentle whisper (instead of a loud ass call for help) – that is how you can avoid burnout.

I know what you’re thinking, .

This sounds nice, but it’s just not possible for you right now.

I know that feels true…

and

The only reason you feel that way is because capitalism has exploited your body for decades (yes, even as a child) and has taught you to exploit yourself.

But feeling like it’s impossible to slow down is just a feeling… it’s not facts.

The facts are:

1️⃣ It is 100% possible for you to slow down, and do even slightly less in your life (without everything falling apart.)

2️⃣ It is possible to do everything that needs to be done- without exploiting your body
I know this because I do this myself every day, and I’ve helped my clients do it too.

(Yes, even folks with a whooole lotta kids, a highly demanding job, and zero time to spare.)

This isn’t easy work, ,

At first, you’re going to avoid and ignore it because it feels unsafe (thanks to trauma from capitalism).

…but if you learn to stretch your capacity for slowing down, listening, & trusting the wisdom of your body’s needs…

…it is possible to have it all- without burning out in the process.

Is your heart calling out for this reality?

If so, we should talk about working together because…

You’ll get to that burned-out free life sooner if you have someone in your corner to:

  • Help you heal the trauma that makes it feel unsafe to slow down
  • remind you of what’s possible when you feel like giving up
  • support you to create creative ways to get things done, without doing more
  • Give you the tools & resources you need to overcome any fears & mindset blocks that hold you back in the process
